Before and during

After a fire, many things come into play.  The fire marshal must determine the cause of the fire and also secure the scene. Sometimes this process can take a while since they will be collecting evidence and putting out hot spots. Once that's done, companies like SERVPRO are called in to do a board up.  We can see in these pictures what it looks like after the fire has been put out and the holes boarded up.  Once the all clear is given, a fire mitigation company will go in and begin the cleaning process. Soot as well as other debris will need to be negotiated so that demo can commence.
